The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino Quattroventi is an attractive wine.
Crushed flowers, dried cherries, orange peel, herbs, wild flowers and tobacco all lift from the glass in this decidedly mid-weight Brunello. Already a touch forward, the 2011 is a good choice for drinking over the next decade or so. Soft, silky tannins and a perfumed, high-toned finish contribute to the wine's open-knit personality.
