90.4 points to Brunello di Montalcino 2011 Corte dei Venti, considered the best Brunello of the year

We communicate with great satisfaction the link to an interesting article by Luciano Pignataro where, following a blind tasting made in Rome with 44 Brunello, the 2011 vintage of Corte dei Venti arrived FIRST with 90 points, beating Brunello wines highly valued on the market. We are truly proud and satisfied with this achievement that pays us back for the every day efforts.
Tasting, tasters:
On 19 January at the Taverna Portuense in Rome 44 Brunello were blindfolded, i.e. without knowing labels and vintages, 22 of 2010 and 22 of 2011.

The bombshell news is that the 2011 vintage was favoured over 2010, with an average score in cents of 87.9 vs. 87.3 and 14 out of 8 wines.
Our Brunello was judged as:
"Corte dei Venti 2011. Great quality of raw material; the imposing tannin, the great finesse and the decisive acidity are in harmony. This makes it already enjoyable and everything suggests that it will be so for many years to come! (90,40)."
